Hunter Douglas
Hunter Douglas is one of the most well-known and reputable manufacturers of window coverings. They offer a wide selection of cellular blinds for conventional windows, giving you the opportunity to match your regular window blinds with the Hunter Douglas line of skylight shades. Hunter Douglas is also one of the few manufacturers of motorized and remote-controlled skylight shades. Their line of motorized shades is called PowerRise and is available on both skylight shades as well as their line of cellular blinds for ordinary windows.
Hunter Douglas skylight shades come in single and double cell layers with cell widths ranging from 3/8” to 3/4”. They have an extensive variety of colors and opacities, giving you a wide selection of light filtering and room darkening options. Comfortex
Comfortex is another highly-respected brand in the blind industry. This company creates a wide range of beautiful window treatments for all kinds of windows. The Comfortex line of skylight shades ranges from light filtering to room darkening with mostly double cell layers available for better energy efficiency. All the Comfortex skylight shades are manually operated via an extension poles that are available for purchase. In fact, Comfortex offers two lengths of skylight blind extension poles with lengths of six or twelve feet. Graber
Graber is well known for their varieties of traditional blinds and their skylight shades are just as versatile. All of Graber's skylight shades are manually controlled and the company offers two lengths of extension poles available for purchase: six feet or nine and a half feet long.
